...now referred to as A.D.H.D. (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), was when I first received my diagnosis, at age five, was simply called "hyperactive".

Until recently, the condition often manifested itself in an apparent inability for me to remain focused for any given length of time.  Aptitude tests administered in my grade school years also alluded to a severely limited sense of problem-solving and difficulty when approaching life changing situations.

How is it, then, that someone as challenged as this is today able to learn nearly 300 verses of Scripture, nearly word-perfect, recounting and presenting all or some portion of them without fear...AND call the whole process simple...even (dare we say) FUN!

BETTER YET...

Aside from the spiritual (and Sunday School), what benefit is there for anyone to learn how to internalize Scripture, A.D.D. or not?

In a word...MUCH!

A “firewall” against sin (Psalms 119:11), hiding God’s Word also becomes the Portal through which I may engage God, hearing Him SPEAK, not just to my “heart”…but with my ears...SERIOUSLY! 

Herein lies the KEY…and is the reason why, with every opportunity appearing in my life today (good and bad), I am now equipped, my fear of failure but a mere "speed-bump".

This teaching, which seeks FIRST, in storing Scripture to memory, the God BEHIND Scripture, nets true empowerment to face, and EMBRACE, the awkward and uncomfortable.

IMPORTANT: This teaching, at the least, may run counter to some long-held, experiential "codes," passed down to many of us through well-meaning teachers.  Its greatest extent, for me, proved entirely OPPOSITE the focus, motivation, and very mindset my church culture has fostered, over the decades of my life.  However, it isn't due to some newly-conjured, subjective "truths," but from exegeted (drawn out) evidence revealed in Scripture itself, that this teaching not only WORKS, but that--I am now convinced--is CRITICAL for a deeper, more permanent and long-lasting connection, of the seeker, to the Word--Gk. "Logos" (the AUTHOR Himself).  A.D.D., or simply that you're tired of wondering and wishing to truly KNOW God's will--a definitive security--regardless the question life tosses your way, God promises not only a SPECIFIC answer (Romans 1:1-2), but that we can actually, physically interact, in relationship with Him, hearing Him SPEAK (John 10:27; Jeremiah 33:3).  This Ministry can teach you how to LISTEN!
